Lesley at the Jubilee Pageant!

Lesley will be one of 150 ‘National Treasures’ in the Platinum Jubilee Pageant on top of one of seven buses representing each of the Queen’s decades on the Throne. The pageant starts at 2.30pm and the BBC 1 TV coverage begins at 1.00pm. You can read a little more at Lesley’s Blog…


Lesley at the Cricket!

Lesley, together with baritone Rodney Earle Clarke, will today kick off the Platinum Jubilee celebrations at Lord’s Cricket Ground when they perform their successful Jubilee Anthem, ‘We Thank You’ before the players, officials and crowd. They are due to perform at 10.20 and you can watch it live on Sky Cricket, Sky Channel 404. News coverage will be available later in the day.

Unfortunately, the ongoing Covid situation means that we are still making some changes to the performance schedule, with two dates being moved from this autumn to next spring. We’ll have them sorted shortly, so do keep checking for the latest information! But the tour has started wonderfully and I’m so looking forward to seeing as many of you as possible very soon!

I’m thrilled to be returning to one of my favourite TV shows to perform on, the BBC’s ‘Songs of Praise’. We’re filming soon and I hope to be able to let you know when it will be broadcast – and what I’ll sing – very shortly!

Its good to be back!

My 40th anniversary...

Welcome to the new website

We’d hoped to have it up and running to celebrate my 40th anniversary in the business in 2020! But, now it’s 42 and I’m still celebrating. We’ll keep working on the site and making changes, but I hope you enjoy the new format.

Sibongile Khumalo dies

I was very sad to hear of the death of the great South African singer, Sibongile Khumalo recently. She was an outstanding artist in every genre of music, and I have the most marvellous and uplifting memories of working with her on several occasions for TV shows and I’m only too glad that we will always have the record of those performances.
